Texas Hold’Em at Cowboys

There is a free Texas Hold’Em tournament tonight at Cowboys.

Ballroom Dance Club Night

Are you a fan of traditional ballroom dancing? Join the “Ballroom Dance Club Night” at the Cultural Arts Center this Saturday, June 2 from 7:00pm to 9:30pm.

First Saturday Family Day

The Wiregrass Museum of Art is hosting its “First Saturday Family Day” on June 2 at 10:30am.

There will be a Hope Run, Walk, Bike event this Saturday, June 2 at 9:00am at the Westgate Park, 501 Recreation Road.

SEADC’s Summer Intensive 2012

The Southeast Alabama Dance Company is holding its Summer Intensive 2012 from June 3 to June7 for children ages 7 and up.

Nature Impressed Clay Classes at WMA

The Wiregrass Museum of Art will be offering Nature Impressed Clay Classes starting Tuesday, May 29 through May 30 from 10:30am to 12:00pm.

You can learn hand-building methods in clay and create a decorative object to take home. Guest instructor Lynn Kohnig will handle classes.

Acoustic Guitar Lessons

Do you want to learn the guitar? Rick Craven a local guitarist offers acoustic guitar lessons at The Cultural Arts Center each Tuesday. Tomorrow, May 29, lessons will be from 3:00pm to 7:30pm.

These lessons are for all skill levels. Cost is $15 for a half hour and $25 for a full hour.
